Sam Harris
Sam Harris can’t remember not being in the garden. His earliest memories permeated with the smell of warm springtime soil and hot tractor oil as he helped his Grandfather Patteson “put out” a vegetable garden at the tender age of 4. He not only learned to plant vegetables, but propagate English Boxwood from his Aunt Joyce and overwinter ferns from his Grandmother Harris. Working alongside with his family, he learned that it’s not the money one spends on the garden that makes it beautiful, but the love one pours into it. Today Sam shares his knowledge by lecturing and running SAM HARRIS DESIGNS – a fine gardening maintenance and landscape design Company, with a strong focus on flower beds and herb gardens.
