Short Pump SymphonetteA String Youth Orchestra for Students of All Ages The Short Pump Symphonette is a string youth orchestra comprised of more than 20 players, which rehearses on a weekly basis and performs public concerts throughout the year. The orchestra was founded by Chris Novelli and William Raposo in 2004 to provide an opportunity for strings students who are currently taking private lessons to play in an orchestra. Players range in age from elementary-, middle-, and high-school to senior citizens.
