DREAMS OF FAMILY ADVENTURES TO EXOTIC PLACES

EDISON, NJ – If you find yourself dreaming of escaping winter’s fickle moods to exotic places where the family can doff its coats and wool caps, you can push those dreams toward reality with a visit to the 41st Annual New Jersey RV Show January 18 through January 20 at the NJ Convention Center.
“The RVs in this show run the full range of travel needs and budgets,” said James McLaughlin, show director and president of MAC Events. “With families now the fastest growing segment of RV buyers, dealers are exhibiting a wider range of recreational vehicles. The 41st Annual NJ RV Show offers everything from motorhomes with fireplaces and bedrooms with king-size beds and satellite-tracking television reception to air conditioned campers you can purchase for a few thousand dollars and tow with a sport utility vehicle.”
The show also features more than 30 campgrounds with golf courses and other resort amenities that will help show visitors plan their next vacation.
This year’s show features more than 250 RVs, from pop-up campers to luxury diesel motorhomes by manufacturers including Forest River, Keystone, Crossroads, Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, Airstream, Winnebago, Canterbury park models, Coachman, Four Winds, Gulf Stream Coach, Jayco, Tiffin, Travel Supreme, Country Coach and many more. The show will feature approximately 80 booth exhibitors covering everything from finance and insurance to RV accessories and services.
You don’t have to spend a fortune to live like a king while you’re on the road.
Consider Starcraft’s new Star Stream travel trailer model exhibited by White Horse Leisure of Williamstown, NJ.
“Starcraft introduced the new Star Stream last year and it’s the most unique thing I’ve seen in some time,” said White Horse salesman Dave Munyan. “It has an aluminum exterior in a contemporary European design and a more high-tech interior design than its predecessors and its competitors.”
With features such as a raised-panel cabin door, smoked glass and accent lighting in the cabin ceiling, the new Star Stream is drawing buyers that are moving up to their second or third RV. The travel trailer’s 40-gauge aluminum exterior and sculpted fender skirts create an aerodynamic profile that enhances fuel economy. “We will have a 23SQ model with an MSRP of $26,000 available at the show for about $21,900,” Munyan said.
On the higher end, White Horse will exhibit a Jayco Seneca mortorhome with a 330-hp Duromax diesel engine that can tow 8,000 pounds.
“We sell a lot of them to drag racers because they can pull a car. They are priced around $115,000 so you get a lot of bang for the buck,” Munyan said. “They are available in a variety of spacious floor plans ranging from a 35-foot single-slide-out model to a 37-foot triple slide. Every model’s furnishings include a queen-size bed and a leather hide-a-bed sofa.”
All American Camper & RV of Farmingdale, NJ, will exhibit a range of Forest River RVs from pop-up trailers to the Sunseeker class C motorhome, said owner Gene Morton.
Sunseeker offers increased spaciousness with 7-foot ceilings as well as options such as an entertainment center with a 25-inch television, rich oak cabinets and a slide-out bunk. Other upscale features include brushed nickel faucets, a three-burner range with oven, a flush-mount two-door refrigerator/freezer and solid-surface edged countertops.
Colonial Airstream & Itasca of Lakewood will exhibit a lineup of classic Airstream travel-trailers including the lightweight Safari Sport and the specialty 16-foot DWR (Design Within Reach).”
“Every inch of the DWR is graced with European contemporary style. From the Nelson ball clock to the Objekto chairs, this Airstream has many additional touches that make it unique, including a burgundy awning and bright Matteo bedspread,” said Lauren Botticelli, a Colonial Airstream salesperson. “The 23-foot Safari front-bedroom floor plan we will exhibit comes with a large bathroom and a walk-around bed.”
The NJ Convention Center is conveniently located in Raritan Center just minutes from the Garden State Parkway Exit 127, NJ Turnpike Exit 10, Route 1, 9, 440 and I-287.
“The NJ Convention Center is a great venue and there is plenty of free parking,” said McLaughlin, the show director. “Not only does a trip to the show make an enjoyable family outing, but it’s a great opportunity to comparison shop without spending hours of driving from one dealer to another.”
The 41ST Annual New Jersey RV Show will be open Friday, Jan. 18, from 1:00-to-9:00 pm, on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children 12 through 17. Children 11 and under are admitted free. Seniors can take advantage of a Friday special admission price of $8 and adults will receive two-for-one admission after 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday.
